Arches National Park Lizards

It was always a treat when we saw lizards on our trip. We don't have any lizards in Nebraska. In Arches National Park located in Southern Utah we saw a few lizards.

We were walking around here:

And saw a lizard.

The problem is that lizards move quickly! Daddy caught this one on camera:

Daddy took this video:

Call me odd, but I so wanted to catch a lizard to keep.

Do you have lizards where you live?

Wow the tail is so long and they move pretty fast! Do you know what they eat?

Very cool! We have them in zoos around here, but I have never seen one in the wild.

Growing up, I have seen huge monitor lizards visiting my mom's garden every now and then.

Cool photos!

We took pictures of the lizards in Florida too, for our vacay, but they were NOT as big as these!! Cool!

I'm loving all the photos from your trip! The kids would love seeing a lizard like that out in the wild.
